U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm toured Alaska as part of keeping innovation and energy justice at the forefront of DOE's mission.
Alongside Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski, the Secretary met with energy leaders across Alaska from the Cold Climate Housing Research Center, DOE Arctic Energy Office, Alaska Center for Energy and Power, Chena Hot Springs and the Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program.

With an eye towards a clean energy future, the bipartisan Infrastructure Deal focuses on American energy innovation, generating good-paying jobs, and supporting a healthier environment. The Secretary's visit highlights the continued interest in the Arctic as a leader for energy solutions.
